Trip log viewer

obd2pid.com is a curator-reviewed PID knowledge catalog. It explains signals, adapters, logging apps, and EU HEV/PHEV platforms. It does not open trip files, draw charts, or accept CSV uploads.

OBD2Lab (obd2lab.com) is a separate product: a local-first viewer for OBD trip logs you already exported. Files stay on your device — they are not uploaded to our servers for analysis.

Typical flow

  1. Log a drive with an OBD app and adapter you already use.
  2. Export a CSV (or similar) trip file from that app.
  3. Open the file in OBD2Lab on your computer to review channels and charts locally.

Use this catalog when you need to understand what a PID or column means. Use OBD2Lab when you want to inspect a trip file you already have.

Local-first

OBD2Lab is designed so trip logs do not leave your machine for cloud analysis. Account and licence features (if you use them) are separate from the log files themselves. Pricing and checkout exist only on obd2lab.com — not on this knowledge site.

This does not change the catalog. A curator reads the vote. For a sourced PID or a correction, submit a tip.
