Understand OBD2 PIDs, adapters, and hybrid signals — without drowning in forums.

A curated knowledge base for European HEV and PHEV owners and enthusiasts. Look up what a signal means, which logging app labels it, and which adapter people actually use on a given platform. This is not a log viewer.

What this site is for

OBD logging looks simple until you mix a cheap adapter, a phone app, and a hybrid that hides battery data behind manufacturer requests. This site is a single, structured place to learn those pieces and how they fit together — not another comment thread.

Who it helps

Owners and tinkerers of European-market hybrids and plug-in hybrids (roughly 2010 onward, with the densest coverage from 2015). If you log with Torque, similar apps, or a Bluetooth adapter and want to know what a column actually measures — this is for you.

It is also for people choosing hardware before they buy: which adapter talks to which app, and whether a platform exposes hybrid battery data at all. Pure battery-electric (BEV) diagnostics are out of scope here.

How to use it

Browse or search. Pages stay read-only for visitors. Nothing here plots a trip or analyses a CSV — that is intentional. The goal is a durable reference people return to.

How to contribute

One channel, reviewed by a curator. Send a structured tip (PID hint, correction, platform or adapter note). On this page — and on every catalog page — you can also mark it helpful, unclear, or report an error. Votes do not go live in the catalog.

This does not change the catalog. A curator reads the vote. For a sourced PID or a correction, submit a tip.
